Dooby Wrap

This is my attempt at a dooby wrap.

I put a stocking on to hold it all in place.

It didn't turned out like I imagined. I wanted a slight bend or curve at the ends. On the plus side, my hair was full of body and movement but stick straight. Perhaps to achieve the wrap look requires a two step process with locks. Such as first have the hair curly then wrap it right before showering to loosen the curls. Maybe, who knows.

Hey sweety, thanks for the comment. As for cutting locks. yes you may get some unraveling but if you cut the hair on an angle it sshould minimize that. I don't know of any other stylist besides myself who cut locks. Are you in the New York area or coming soon?

Hi Audrey, did you use setting lotion at all? Maybe you'll have to leave it pinned up longer? Post updates the next time your try it, I'd like to see how it looks when it holds all over (BTW, your bangs look cute).

Hi Southerngirl,
thanks. the first time i did the wrap, i used nothing on my hair, the second time, i spritzed my hair with water, the third time i used some styling mousse plus the stocking cap. Each time my hair had amazing body and movement but no curl. Will keep trying though.
