Dry Cleaning??

This is my new hairbrush for 'de-linting' my hair. It is a lint remover for clothes. I use it just like I would a hair brush. It removes the lint from my hair and leaves it lively. Kind of like 'dry cleaning' my hair. Here, i had just finished retightening my hair and it was well in need of a wash. After using the lint roller, my hair looked and felt clean and had lots of movement. I think i will use it on my hair at the end of each day. I like it. My daughter enjoys 'brushing' my hair too.

It's all about hair

I set my hair like this with a spritz of water or mousse it, cover my hair at night with a satin bonnet or silk scarf to reduce lint as well as sleep on a satin pillow case. I find covering my hair at night keeps it 'new' and 'alive' not limp and dried out. then finger comb it in the morning.
















Let's face it, when will you ever take 1,000 pictures of your hair unless you feel really great about it! You know you have days when your hair just won't cooperate. And then there are those days when it looks and feels wonderful on your head. Well, today is one of those days. So i decided to take full advantage of the photo booth feature on my MacBook.

Dooby Wrap

This is my attempt at a dooby wrap.








I put a stocking on to hold it all in place.



It didn't turned out like I imagined. I wanted a slight bend or curve at the ends. On the plus side, my hair was full of body and movement but stick straight. Perhaps to achieve the wrap look requires a two step process with locks. Such as first have the hair curly then wrap it right before showering to loosen the curls. Maybe, who knows.
