I have had the most luxurious hair washing experience using Aveda Brilliant shampoo AND the washing technique/method of Carol (www.coilsncurls.com). Thank you Carol. My hair was soft and full of movement after that washing method and lasted a whole week. While i didn't use a spray bottle, i still got all my locks thoroughly saturated and sudsy from roots to tips. I normally wash my hair weekly, but after 1 week it didn't even look or feel like it needed a wash. I love the pureness of Aveda products. Double Strand Twist Set

freshly retightened, tight double strand twist set, finger combed.

Hair Stick Set

taking down a set created using a hair stick. the same can be achieved using a pencil. a little spritz of water, mousse or setting lotion, then wrap the ends of hair around the stick, roll hair up the scalp, hold the roll in place and pull out the stick. secure roll with a hairpin. very much like pin curls. Very long lasting curls and shape.

Washed, braided while damp, air dried and finger combed. Very long lasting set.

Large Perm Rods

roller set with 1" and 1 1/4" perm rods, some mousse. hair has a lot of body and movement with this set but curls are not long lasting. just slightly curled. will try smaller rods.
